Spectrum International Inc. has been in the laser business since 1996 developing new, as well as improving and servicing commercial laser systems from simple laser alignment tools to very sophisticated ophthalmic excimer laser systems used for vision correction. From 2000-2005, Dr Bekov, as a founder and partner of another dental laser company developed several versions of diode lasers and manufactured more than 1200 diode lasers.
Dr George Bekov is a laser physicist with a PhD in lasers and optics. He has over 30 years experience in laser research, design, and manufacturing of advanced medical laser systems. He is experienced in the fields of optics, atomic, molecular and optical spectroscopy. He authored and co-authored 2 scientific books and more than 100 peer-reviewed scientific publications in international journals.
When developing SPECTRALASE he eliminated several critical design features of his previous dental lasers to make a system even more reliable.
Bob Cobley has over 15 years experience in dental laser sales, training, and customer service. Over 3000 GPs and 2000 orthodontists have purchased from him and are totally satisfied with the service provided. He is also a silent partner in his wife’s general practice.
